Job Description:

  • Conducting on-site testing and commissioning of signaling equipment
  • Ensuring all applicable project and regulatory safety requirements are observed during test activities
  • Identifying abnormal system conditions, investigating causes and recommending solutions
  • Analyzing test results and preparing test documentation

Subsystems   and Equipment Set To Work/ Commissioning

  • Signalling   Systems Overview and Signalling Principles
  • Signalling   Equipment and Engineering Drawing Interpretation and Management
  • Signalling   Cabinets Set To Work
  • Hazards   and Risk Identification and Management
  • Signalling   Station Equipment Set To Work
  • Signalling   Correspondence and Through Test
  • Test case   and reports

Train   Test Running

  • Route   Setting Support at Operation Control Centre
  • Features,   functions and configuration of train timetable scheduling systems
  • Operational   Modes and Principals Train Running
  • Methods   for train detection, train protection and train routing
  • Types of   train deployment and testing documentation requirement

Equipment   Factory Acceptance Test & Repair

  • Signalling   Equipment Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
  • Methods   of analysing equipment manuals, system diagrams and structural plans
  • Techniques   for targeting and determining malfunctions and defects
  • Methods   of determining follow-up measures to ensure repair works are successful
  • Engineering   processes and workflows

Duration: 9 months

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

This position is for both recent graduates and mid career individuals. Graduates interested in this position should possess a Poly Diploma Qualification. Mid career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
