Position Title: Technical Manager

The Candidate should be able to effectively manage a team of technical members, working on multiple web/portal technologies and handle projects from varied business domains: The candidate should have experience in:
  • Understand Requirements as documented by the users and stated by the client
  • Perform independent review of the requirements to identify the gaps
  • Understand the explicit as well as implicit requirements
  • Perform requirement traceability
  • Suggest the right technical solution based on the client’s problem area and requirements
  • Manage Resource allocation & utilization
  • Ensure proper distribution of resources for support and development projects
  • Plan project effort and schedule
  • Track, monitor and manange project effort, schedule, quality, defects
  • Lead defect prevention meetings
  • Create Test strategies in coordination with the QA Team
  • Perform clear and concise status update to the respective stakeholders
  • Review the deliverables as per the release management process
  • Lead & Review the application Technical Architecture design
  • Lead the effort for creating and improving the standard frameworks
  • Lead the creation of reusable components, Track and Manage reusable components
  • Own, Create and Improve the processes for the Technical Team, for coding, unit testing, release management, CR management
  • Review and manage the SLA for the support team
  • Analyse support tickets and implement improvements in the TAT & the applications
  • Continuously improve the applications support process
  • Ensure organization as well as team level process compliance
  • BS/ Masters level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background or equivalent experience
  • Min 10 years in application development with minimally 4 years as technical manager  experience building large scale applications.
  • Possess good knowledge of .Net, Java, SAP, Cloud implementation, DevOps and Low code development platform.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
  • Able to communicate with and create relationships between the client and other teams working on the project
  • Able to mentor and guide the team
  • Able to review and appraise the team members
  • Able to design growth plan for team members
  • Able to provide training internal/external to the team members as required
