Position Title: Software Engineer - PMET

  • Be part of an exciting team to be involved in designing, building, and deploying software applications for the clients’ projects.
  • Perform design & implementation of software system projects that define the architecture, components, interface & other characteristics of an application using the containerised platform
  • Conduct user requirements, application development, system integration, deployment as well as troubleshooting.
  • Participate in meetings with end-users to solicit inputs for each cycle of prototyping.
  • Conduct testing to evaluate the attribute or capability of the software & determine that it meets the expected results. Perform quality assurance & ensure the software meets customers' expectations.
  • Support the technical manager in cyber security checks and incident response management whenever requested.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the container platform cluster when required.


Job requirements

  • Any qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), related discipline or equivalent
  • Interested or passionate to pursue a 2 year contract career opportunity in the tech space
  • Willingness to learn and to be trained through a comprehensive training programme
  • A strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge or experience related to network security practices such as intranet and internet access will be a plus, but not mandatory
  • Having a background or experience in coding is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Open to Singaporeans who are aged 40 & above for this programme
  • Open to mid-career professionals only for this programme


This job role is supported by the structured development programme for mid-career professionals under the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative, led by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).

The programme aims to provide Singaporeans aged 40 and above with a tech-related job while being reskilled or upskilled.  Mid-career professionals will have the assurance of being employed in a paid job while attending structured Company-Led Training for in-demand tech skills. They will also gain experience in a tech role to tap into the good careers that the infocomm sector offers.
