Position Title: Technical Manager (DevOps / Cyber Security) - PMET

  • Be part of an exciting team to oversee the DevOps or Cyber Security application to ensure quality of the software applications and project deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of the DevOps platform
  • Perform the role of a Project Manager, when required.
  • Participate customer engagement, to understand their requirements.
  • Conduct regular meetings with end-users to ensure requirements are met
  • In charge of the overall security for the DevOps platform
  • Ensure regular checks are performed on the security and integrity of the DevOps system.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow within the DevOps teams
  • Understand technical and business requirement for IT project through information gathering, research, analysis, etc., to support effective delivery
  • Work closely with stakeholders (e.g. customer, infra team, DevOps, software development team, etc.) for service/application deployment (e.g. containerisation, cyber security, etc.)
  • Oversees IT project implementation which may include service/software provisioning, trouble shooting, resource management, application deployment and/or performance management
  • Evaluate and monitor IT service and/or application delivery against user and business requirements.
  • Utilise industry best practises techniques and/or standards for IT project execution
  • Deliver Training to internal and external stakeholders.

 Job requirements
  • Any qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), related discipline or equivalent
  • Interested or passionate to pursue a career opportunities in the tech space.
  • Willingness to learn and to be trained through a comprehensive training programme
  • Keen interest to develop capability to guide or lead a team.
  • A strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge or experience related to network security practices such as intranet and internet access will be a plus, but not mandatory
  • Open to Singaporeans who are aged 40 & above for this programme
  • Open to mid-career professionals only for this programme
 
This job role is supported by the structured development programme for mid-career professionals under the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative, led by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).
