Position Title: Intralogistics Solution Engineer - Ref: RASB/LA/ALS

The Solution Engineer shall provide technical support to Sales team and Customers.  They have to understand the customer requirements, collaborate with technical engineers for designing and developing system implementations and automation products to meet customer expectation.  They also have to provide marketing solution for selling and marketing the newly designed technological products to various customers by providing different design options to them.  
Their jobs includes analyzing technological problems in term of technical resolution and working environment. Evaluating the customer’s requirement regarding systems application and administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly.   
Perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to head of engineering department. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Job Description:
  • Implement automation solutions with customers
  • Work closely with customers to define, prioritize, and document business and operational requirements for automation solutions
  • Define interface requirements to integrate automation solutions with customer's existing systems
  • Assess solution options and define conceptual solution design, in conjunction with client operational and IT systems engineers
  • Serve as customer advocate throughout solution design, development, and test phases to ensure delivered solution meets customer objectives.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • 3 years or more Experience in a business related to automation/software implementation, integration and intralogistics industry
  • Willingness to develop strong technical and troubleshooting skills in several applications and technologies.
  • Possess a customer-focus attitude and have experience in customer engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. High proficiency in a 2nd language is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred
