Position Title: Data Centre Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for key accounts being assigned, including customer satisfaction and meeting sales target. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Solutions, Project Management and Technical Support teams to understand, influence and ensure customer requirements to devise effective solutions to maximize conversion of the pipelines to drive business growth. In addition, International Sales pursuits may be assigned as appropriate.
  • Respond to customers to follow on RFI/RFP requests.
  • Provide ongoing Account Management and update to derive winning strategy.
  • Cooperate with the Solutions team to drive innovation and keeping pace with market best practices.
  • Lead and/or participate in formulating strategy and subsequent pursuit, bid and contracting process as appropriate.
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer and market segment.
  • Demonstrated Commercial successes in building business and partnerships in similar roles.
  • Able to develop knowledge of our customers and be able to apply that to manage expectations.
  • Able to understand technical issues and constraints, as well as stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in Business Development / Sales in Data Centre industry
  • Minimum diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or strong work experience in Data Centre M&E Infrastructure
  • Experience in Strategic Account management
  • Solution design, knowledge of integration, implementation and service strategies preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organisation with multifunctional teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with financial, effective presentation, negotiation and people management skills
