Position Title: Presales Consultant/ Manager, Aviation

The Presales Consultant is required to work closely with sales and product teams to understand, influence and ensure customer requirements to devise effective solutions.
  • Reply to customers to follow up for information and proposal requests.
  • Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.
  • Provide ongoing support for customers post implementation.
  • Cooperate with the product team to drive innovation and change on product roadmaps.
  • Participation in capture strategy and subsequent pursuit, bid and contracting process as appropriate.
  • Functional understanding of the underlying technologies and strategies in which Singapore Technologies operates to facilitate solution strategies.
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer and market segment (Airports and/or ANSPs).
  • Able develop knowledge of our customers and users and be able to apply that to manage new and existing products and services in conjunction with Product Management.
  • Develop and understand the strategy relative to the customer group(s) the product serves; and business units’ processes and the role each unit has in developing and supporting products.
  • Able to understand technical issues and constraints, as well as stakeholder requirements and expected outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years in Pre Sales / Sales Support in aviation IT (level dependant on experience)
  • Solution design, knowledge of integration, implementation and service strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organisation with multifunctional teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with effective influencing, negotiation and people management skills
  • Working for / exposure and experience in airport / ANSP  industry a distinct advantage
