Job Description : 
  • Reporting to Business Lead of Robotics and Autonomous System Business Group / Logistics Automation (RASB/LA) – Seaport Automation;
  • Seek and engage potential seaport customers through current or newly developed business network internationally and professionally engage customers;
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and materials for the entire project from responding to Request For Proposal (RFP) stage to Request For Quotation (RFQ) stage up to final customer sign off of the project;
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and materials for back-to-back support from business partners to respond to potential customers’ or project Request For Proposal (RFP) stage to Request For Quotation (RFQ) stage up to final sign off of the project;
  • Front-end initial contact person of all stakeholders of the project, both in-house and external parties;
  • Assist or responsible to prepare, in whole or in part, of the following documents and processes of the project;
    • Response to RFP;
    • Project costing;
    • Quotation from suppliers and partners;
    • Response to RFQ;
    • Management approval for project go ahead;
    • Project schedule;
    • Billing schedule;
    • Delivery schedule;
    • Project documentation;
    • Any other documentation and material required for the project execution.
  • Participate in commissioning process of the automation solution and obtain final sign-off of the project from customers;

Requirements : 
  • Degree in any Engineering discipline, Business or MBA
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of working experience in engineering work;
  • Former or current employees at operational level or above, of seaport operator, contractor or sub-contractor with the required network or ability to build new network in APAC region, contacts and knowledge of the business environment of the seaport business, especially in AGV operations in APAC region, is a huge added advantage, though not essential;
  • Experience in independently engaging in-house colleagues and customers at working level, up to manager level, to deliver business plans, project brief, updates and reports etc. is preferred;
  • Seaport equipment technical and operational knowledge of seaport operations with at least 3 years of hands-on working experience in seaport operations environment in any capacity;
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in management of suppliers/vendors/sub-contractors/business partners and customers is essential;
  • Some working knowledge of costing and P&L is preferred, though not essential;
  • Working knowledge of seaport equipment performance, application, limitations, specifications, industrial terminology and standards, best practices, safety etc. is expected;
  • Ability to travel independently extensively to various business locations;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with team members, customers and all stakeholders of the project.
