Position Title: Commercial Executive (Water Treatment)

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimation for tenders in various disciplines (e.g mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control & automation, and civil & structural)
  • Assist in specifications, clarifications meetings and/or negotiation with equipment suppliers
  • Check completeness and scope of suppliers’ offers versus specifications
  • Work with EDC to ensure suppliers’ scope of supply fulfill requirements of specifications
  • Preparation and submission of tenders and variation orders
  • Preparation and submission of project budget for management approval
  • Prepare invoicing of payment milestone and variation orders
  • Create new project and system numbers in SAP system for cost capturing
  • Review actual cost incurred against budget
  • Work and liaise with Project Department (person-in-charge) on specific projects
  • Evaluate and summarise cost report for management
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors. Regularly perform sub-vendor development activity
  • Maintain a categorised database of suppliers and quotations records.
  • Continuous standardisation and improvement of quotation and costing formats
  • Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations
  • Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
  • Liaise with purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing
 
Requirements
  • Preferably 1 years’ experience in project estimating and costing, preferably in environmental engineering and M&E construction industries
  • Diploma/Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil or environmental engineering or
  • equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience in EPC Construction project experience, costing / proposals for Operation and Maintenance contracts
  • Experience in labor cost and fabrication cost estimation
  • Fresh graduates with keen interest are welcome

  • Location: Benoi (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
