As the instructional designer, the job holder is responsible for design, develop and evaluate course curricula and lessons, which include courseware design, blended learning design, and content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review Training/Course Management Plan (TMP/CMP)
- Review and develop curriculum design incorporating technology and relevant learning pedagogies
- Supervise the design and development of e-learning content that consist of an assortment of media types such as video, animation and other instructional technologies
- Conduct needs analysis with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design courseware for effective learning
- Develop, conceptualise and edit storyboard that will be translated into finished interactive content
- Perform courseware testing and evaluate courseware based on the approved storyboard
- Provide in house training and education for team and trainers
Requirements:
- Degree in any Management discipline; Preference is given to degree in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, Instructional Technology or related qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Adult Continuation Education (DACE), equivalent or higher qualification by an accredited training institution (WDA – accredited CETs) or from Institute of Higher Learning such as NIE
- Post-graduate qualification in Education or Instructional Design will be an advantage
- At least 3 – 5 years working experience in Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Content Development and Training practices
- Strong project management skills with experience in all phases of the instructional design process
- Good knowledge on authoring tools, usability and functionality testing methods, as well as course and learner evaluation methodology
- Experience with Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, Lectora, Rapitivity, etc. is preferred
- Experience in creating web pages using HTML, XML and other web technologies is preferred
- Possess leadership qualities with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
