Position Title: Assistant Manager, Marketing

The incumbent is a member of the ST Engineering Marketing team.  He/She will work independently as well as with other members of the Marketing team to support various group-led smart-city initiatives within the marketing team.
The key responsibilities are as follows:
  • To assist in developing compelling value proposition and marketing collaterals for smart city solution suite
  • To assist in managing assigned key partners, including pro-actively monitoring their activities/projects and proposing modes of collaboration  
  • To develop framework for gathering and disseminating market intelligence on local, regional and global smart-city developments
  • To coordinate customer’s visit programme.  He/She will facilitate the hosting of incoming visits and will assist in managing the repository of resources for visit templates, marketing presentations and talks.
  • To broadcast ST Engineering's concerted approach to smart-city marketing to SBAs/SBUs and secure buy-in to the approach
  • To track and monitor the KPIs for the targets set for the performance of marketing objectives.
  • To provide full support to Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Team as required.

Requirements
  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or marketing.
  • Creative and out of the box thinker
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development and/or corporate strategy roles within engineering or technology companies.
  • Experience in smart-city marketing or ICT an advantage
  • Ability to understand or develop a high-level grasp of engineering related products / services.
  • Enthusiastic, committed and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Excellent MS Powerpoint and Excel skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Fluent in Mandarin
