Job Description:
  • Centrally plan and coordinates resources in an optimal manner for Operations to perform Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) jobs effectively and efficiently
  • Identify and plan based on established Scope-of-Work, resources required to execute incoming Work Orders
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Management, in particular Inventory Management to coordinate the availability of materials to reduce downtime of jobs
  • Coordinate with Admin Planner on work flow routing and control ensuring timely release of jobs that are planned for execution by Operations
  • Review requirements with operations to formalise the scope, tasks, services, labour and man-hours required to execute corrective and/or preventive maintenance jobs
  • Work closely with engineers to continuously evaluate and improve effectiveness of job plans for corrective maintenance
  • Track status of work orders released to Operations based on inputs by engineers in the Maximo System (Enterprise System) and understand the gaps between actual and planned
  • Ensure alignment of job plans to meet contractual and organisational KPIs
  • Play a significant role in short to long term planning, including proposing initiatives that may challenge the status quo to gear towards operational and organizational excellence          -
   Job Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma with at least 3 years experience in operations / planning related work
  • Experience in a MRO Operations environment has an advantage
  • Able to organize work efficiently and schedule workload in a timely manner
  • Possess the capacity to carry out assignments where experience and judgement are required to understand the purpose of the assignment
  • Logical approach to problem-solving and setting of priorities as well as attention to fine details
  • Good IT skills especially in Excel pivot tables and v-lookup functions and desirable to have experience in SAP
  • Able to generate reports / presentations that allow others to comprehend the status and issues at hand
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced environment where time is of great essence
  • Listen, communicate and to relate to others on a professional level
  • Competent in coordinating activities between stakeholders such as Inventory Management, Operations engineers and various functions
  • Independent with an interest in keeping things organized as well as a strong team player in achieving the overall objectives through a wide spectrum of activities
  • Lead as well as take responsibility in coaching direct reports (if any)
