Job Description:
  • Manage the procurement department and functionally report to Corp SCM to ensure the proper functioning of the purchasing department.
  • Deliver MRO support services including review or approve Purchase Orders (PO) and contracts with suppliers
  • Review or approve material provisioning plan
  • Direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures related to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Approval of suppliers into vendors' list
  • Lead process of identification of key suppliers
  • Plan and implement strategic procurement strategies
  • Monitor and balance workload of SCM staff
  • Ensure that requirements for procurement of all controlled components and materials are conformed in accordance to the control goods requirements
  • Ensure effective implementation and management of the sourcing process for critical components
  • Monitor key performance indicators of SCM department and report the results to management     
   
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering with 2 years' experience related to automotive fields or MRO Services
  • Understand trade/shipping terms
  • Knowledge in SAP Purchasing /MM modules (buyer/inventory)
  • Familiar with ST Kinetics product Knowledge will be added advantage
  • Inventory planning/strategies
  • Good in negotiation skills & techniques & cost reduction techniques
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Lead and manage a team
  • Able to work under pressure, independent and self-motivated
